Pilger Fire and Rescue Hosts Successful Soup Feed Event

Pilger, Nebraska – October 15, 2023 – Pilger Fire and Rescue hosted a highly anticipated soup feed event at the Pilger Firehall on October 15, 2023. The community was invited to join in for a hearty lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The event featured a diverse menu, including chili, chicken noodle soup, brisket chili, cheesy potato soup, and the crowd-favorite taco soup. Grilled cheese sandwiches were also available to cater to younger attendees.

The event provided a wonderful opportunity for community members to come together, enjoy delicious food, and support their local fire and rescue team. Not only did attendees have the chance to savor a variety of soups, but they also had the satisfaction of knowing that their participation contributed to the continued readiness and operations of Pilger Fire and Rescue.
